Prenatal & Parenting Information

At Sylvan Family Health Centre we are fortunate to provide prenatal care to our patients and patients referred from other clinics. Typically one prenatal physician will provide care to you throughout your whole pregnancy.

Our physicians are part of a greater Red Deer area call group, which means that they share obstetrical call duties with other local physicians. This means that if you need to seek care at the hospital during your pregnancy and for your delivery, another physician within our group may be providing your care. Please be assured that the delivering physician will have access to your prenatal record and all of our physicians follow the same standards of care.
